2014 2790 DLX COI Passenger Vessel
This rig was built by Marine Warehouse Center for Duke University to carry students in small research groups at the Duke Marine Lab Facility in Beaufort, NC. Fit and finish was important in this build which is why the traditional kit boat parts were all reinforced and fiber-glassed into the deck for superior rigidity. With a 30 inch transom height, the 250 horsepower Yamaha four stroke seemed the only suitable choice for the rig with Command Link controls and gauges optimizing the fly-by-wire technology.
