This custom rig, "Nessie" was built for the New England Science & Sailing Foundation. They are "an ocean adventure nonprofit company based out of Stonington, Connecticut which provides STEM-based education programs, on and off the water, for students from all walks of life. Their goal is to use marine sciences, adventure sports, powerboating, and sailing as platforms for inquiry-based learning, personal discovery, teaching respect and responsibility for the sea, and creating connections with the community. NESS operates year-round with families, schools, and organizations to provide high-quality programs that blend an innovative curriculum with exciting ocean adventure activities." This custom rig has a Certificate of Inspection from the US Coast Guard and is rated for 18 passengers and one crew member.
