2017 Carolina Skiff 2790 DLX COI Passenger Vessels
These custom rigs, "What Cheer" and "Hope", were built for Providence River Boat Company to provide guided tours of the Narragansett Bay, Providence River and the famous WaterFire in Waterplace Park. The Providence River is formed by the confluence of the Woonasquatucket and Moshassuck rivers in downtown Providence where the Woonasquatucket River's original riverbed has been diverted into a man-made channel through Waterplace Park. Both of these vessels have a Certificate of Inspection from the US Coast Guard for 18 passengers plus one crew member. All of the traditional Carolina Skiff kit boat parts were reinforced and fiber-glassed into the deck for superior rigidity. Check out the video of Hope's first splash in Providence!!
